The Ministry of External Affairs of the Union of India denounced China's recent assertions regarding Arunachal Pradesh as "unreasonable", emphasizing that the state "has been and will continue to be an integral and inseparable part of India".
The statement from MEA representative Randhir Jaiswal was made 48 hours following the declaration by the Chinese military that Arunachal Pradesh is a "natural part of China's territory".
The spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs has acknowledged the statements made by the Chinese Defence Ministry spokesperson, which put forward unfounded assertions regarding the territory of Arunachal Pradesh in India. Reiterating groundless contentions in this matter does not give any credibility to such claims. Arunachal Pradesh has been, is, and will forever remain an essential and inseparable part of India. The residents of this region will persist in receiving advantages from our initiatives for development and infrastructure projects.
